Fabulous and Sunny 2 bed Apartment, in City Centre

Very spacious living room with the most amazing postcard-worthy view thanks to the great location beside the river and the large windows. The dimmable lights provide a romantic atmosphere after dark. Every amenity is walking distance in the heart of the city center. Marble floor very easy to clean. Extra bedding and towels provided. Good water pressure and good drain in the shower. Nice kitchen. Heating heats up the flat fast. Ventilation very good thanks to the bathroom window and the balcony door. The hosts John and Margaret were very kind and attentive. There are only three apartments in one block, so the hallway is peaceful. We received a nice welcome-package of groceries like coffee and butter to start off with.

Parking in the same building is unreasonably overpriced, so best to park farther. We found a lot of hair on the small bedroom's bed. We needed extra darkening on the bedroom windows, as the curtains didn't help much. The main bedroom's door was creaky, but we solved it easily with WD-40. The showers could do with some renovation, certain elements have become loose in the main shower, like the shower head holder, the door, the safety grip's decorative element. The water pump is somewhat loud, so the place is best to be shared with someone who wouldn't use it while you're asleep. The apartment is right beside a busy road, so noisy during the day, and delivery vans pass by at night, so earplugs are highly advised to guarantee uninterrupted sleep.

Perfect location overlooking river and across the bridge to the city centre. Bus station close by and short taxi from airport. Excellent cooking facilities in the apartment but also next door the hotel does a great all you can eat breakfast for €14! Accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable and our host was amazing! Great communication throughout and Margaret went all out on decorations and even gifts for my mums 70th. If we were to return to Cork I would absolutely re book. Highly recommend

The apartment was spacious, bright and modern. The bedrooms were also a good size and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. The location was very close to local restaurants, shops, attractions and bars. It was a short taxi ride to the airport and we used the airport bus into the city centre on arrival which was also very easy. We had a slight problem with the key lock box on arrival but a quick phone call to Margaret sorted that out for us. Margaret was really helpful and phoned us a little later to check that everything was ok.

No complaints, would definitely recommend a stay here!

Location is great, beds super comfy, apartment in general is lovely

There was a leak on the windowsill in the kitchen, some of the lights didn't work and leak on the windowsill in the main bathroom

The apartment was spacious and had all the necessary comforts. The location is perfect. An easy walk to everything in Cork City central. The view from the apartment was fantastic. Our host was so lovely and was great with communication.

The apartment was beautiful - very spacious, very bright, very modern and very comfortable. It was warm and very clean. The photos don't do it justice. We were delighted that it had a lift as we didn't expect that. We were also delighted with the second balcony off one of the bedrooms and also the en-suite. The location could not have been better for us as it is across the road from the Opera House and just a 5 minute walk from really good restaurants and shops.

There were a few issues which I have brought to the notice of the owner but I'm not mentioning them in this review to give the owner a chance to redress what he can.
