"Nice building not so nice area "

The property is a beautifully rehabbed building on the edge of Casco Viejo, where old meets new. While it’s surrounded by police on every corner, which ensures safety, the heavy presence is a bit off-putting. The area feels transitional, with locals living their lives in a lower-income neighborhood. Just a block or two away, the atmosphere feels much more comfortable. Overall, a decent stay, but the immediate surroundings weren’t ideal for me.
