AUWe were contacted by the property manager about meeting to collect the keys and let in to the property. It is a beautifully decorated property and I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. It is in a good location and easy to walk down to the main street. The beds were comfy, bedrooms and bathrooms all lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
The bathrooms are a little open plan for my liking but that is just my personal preference and did not affect our stay.

ZAThe facility is well situated with all the amenities you might need for a weekend away. It is about 600m from a nice cellar where you can do wine tasting as well as good entertainment for kids. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and I will recommend this to anyone with kids and fur babies.

There was no icebox or freezer The alarm - not clear if it was working or not There were some impressive items in the kitchen but also some basics were missing - we couldnt open our bottle of wine from the wine route! There were no scissors. THERE WAS NO ICE BOX IN THE FRIDGE OR FREEZER!! Rear patio door catch needs attention - very difficult to lock again Rear Garden Gate lock - needs attention, we could not re lock Broken dining room chair No non slip shower mat in the shower. Very slippery floor in the shower in the double shower Gas fire in lounge seemed not to be connnected. Couldn’t find an instructions Instructions for TV - not available

The tiled floors are very cold for Franschoek in winter. The space is nice but desperately needs a warm carpet in the living room and bedrooms and a working wood fireplace in the lounge for winter. We were freezing even with the “inverter” air conditioning and it made our stay quite unpleasant
