TamCoc Moon An Bungalow & Cafe

Dommage que le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas et malheureusement n a jamais été changé L emplacement est à environ trois kilomètres du centre. Besoin d un vélo ou scooter

Sadly we didn’t get to stay here in the end.

We booked a stay at this accommodation over a month ago on Booking.com and when we turned up they said our information was not on the system. It seems that many other people have had this same issue. The staff made up an excuse that the previous owners did not input our booking properly but we soon found out we were just part of a big scam and the manager was putting on an act. The manager took us to another homestay (which was disgusting) and it turned out that he was paid 300,000VND to do so! We managed to book a new hotel and, as we were about to leave, the owner of the disgusting homestay began shouting at us and refused to let us leave. She was demanding that we paid her the 300,000VND that she paid the Tamcoc Moon An Bungalow manager in commission. The whole situation was made worse considering nobody spoke English, so we just ended up having to pay this horrible lady so we could leave her premises. Luckily the new hotel that we booked was much nicer than Tamcoc Moon An Bungalow. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is all one big scam.

UNSAFE EXPERIENCE – threats and privacy violation. We had a very negative and concerning experience at this property. We booked a Deluxe Bungalow, but upon arrival we were given a much smaller room next to a noisy construction site. After raising the issue, we were promised an upgrade, however the new room still did not match what we originally booked. After two nights, we were suddenly told to check out before 12:00. The reason given was a “police inspection”; however, other guests were allowed to stay. It was clear that we were the only guests asked to leave. We were then pressured to pay under threat of calling the police. As a result, we felt forced to pay and were left without accommodation. After posting a review, the situation escalated. We received threatening messages via WhatsApp. The host: • sent us photos of our passports to intimidate us • shared our passport data in local groups with many members This raised serious concerns about our safety and privacy. We have reported this case to Booking.com and provided full evidence. We strongly advise other travelers to be very careful when considering this property.

Les personnes qui accueillent sont très gentilles, attentionnées et serviables. Les lits étaient très confortables. Nous sommes arrivées un jour plus tôt et ils nous ont surclassés dans un bungalow. Très joli et confortable mais un peu chaud. Les chambres à l’intérieur sont très bien ! Le jardin est magnifique avec la piscine et le bassin et ses nénuphars. À l’écart de la ville mais ça permet de trouver la tranquillité le soir. Nous avons loué un scooter avec la guesthouse et c’était parfait ! C’est beau, et il y a une bonne énergie. On as envie de les serrer dans nos bras en partant !

Le seul point noir est le petit déjeuner. Personnellement je n’ai rien aimé. Ni même les toasts. Pain sucré et margarine. Nous avons toujours mangé à l’extérieur même les cafés. Par contre prendre un verre en terrasse au bord de la piscine c’est le rêve !
