Clement House, York, Free EV and parking

Location, near to interesting variety of shops, restaurants, cafés. Nice walk into City centre. Clean and nicely presented accommodation. Lovely hot shower. Free parking and free EV charging.

Minor things mainly. Instruction for cooker/microwave was listed as being at the back of the property manual but wasn't there. Had to Google which one of the nine options to use. Mirror light in the bathroom turns on and off every time you go anywhere near it. Parking space occupied when we arrived, but we were 5 minutes early and was very quickly sorted.

Everything. The flat is beautifully furnished and so well-located. We really enjoyed the shops down the road and being able to walk into town (and to Rowntree Park) within 10 minutes. Having a parking space was a real bonus.

The mattress in the main bedroom was too soft for us but this is, of course, only a personal preference!

Clement House is in an excellent location, to walk easily & quickly into the city. There is a super parade of shops eg bakery, butchers, deli & small supermarket nearby. The flat was very clean, warm & had under floor heating. Decor was lovely, with tasteful furnishings. The double bed & sofa bed were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the host was very good & they were there to answer any questions.

Lucy was incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches throughout the space, such as local snacks, tea, sugar, milk, kids toys, and a detailed guide to the area and places to visit in York. The apartment was immaculate, featuring modern decor, comfortable furniture and bedding, and all the amenities we could need. The location was perfect, nestled in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to shops and restaurants.

We liked everything, close to the city, quiet, local bar & eateries, parking for flat 1a, the hosts were available & helpful. We would definitely stay again when visiting York.

Everything! Such a lovely place. Small but perfectly formed. Very modern, clean and well thought out. Under floor heating which was amazing in the winter. The host also had made a great effort with Xmas decorations which was a lovely touch.

Nothing really. It’s on the first level so with a small baby meant dragging everything up the stairs - but the host offered to provide a cot. The kitchen equipment in terms of pans was limited if you wanted to properly cook but was sufficient for light meals.

Excellent location, walking distance into the city, very comfy bed with memory foam mattress topper was lovely, clean and modern.
