They had Christmas decorations put on.

First of all, there wasn’t breakfast available because as they informed us, we should have sent an email before. Meanwhile, we had sent an email with some special requests and it was never read. Secondly, the bedroom had a very strong smell of mold and you could see it on the walls. The entrance of the house was also very slippery, due to the mold. Last but not least, the day of our departure they entered into the house while we were getting ready and started cleaning all around - and it was not because they were expecting another arrival. On the good side, they gave us a small discount for all the inconvenience.

Great location right in the centre of Volendam, well equipped, great host.

A little bit difficult to find

VERY nice place - wish we would have had more time there... extremely clean with all that was necessary for a great stay. The location is super with only 5 minutes to shops and restaurants/cafes. Has own courtyard to relax in too! Vincent was very accommodating and friendly. Hope to stay there again!

The bed was very comfortable, bedroom dark and very quiet. Best nights sleep.

Nice quiet rooms close to all of the lake side restaurants. The option to purchase drinks and snacks was a great idea. Our host Vincent was very accommodating. The local shops and restaurants were great with excellent customer service. Volendam exceeded my expectations as we had been on a bus tour, and it didn't do the town justice.

I mustn't have read the ad correctly as I was expecting waterfront views. We found the TV's hard to operate as the default language was in Dutch.
