"The sofa bed made the whole experience feel very poor."

We recently stayed in this studio apartment in San Antonio for one week. While the apartment itself is nicely finished, clean, and in a great location, I unfortunately cannot recommend it due to the sleeping arrangements.

The sofa bed provided is simply not adequate for two grown adults. The mattress was so thin and uncomfortable that we could actually feel the iron support bars digging into our hips. After a couple of sleepless nights, we were forced to go to IKEA in Malaga and purchase a mattress topper (€80) and two extra pillows (€20 each) just to make it bearable. It’s a real shame because otherwise the apartment has a lot going for it, but a proper bed or at least a better-quality mattress is absolutely essential. Until the sleeping situation is improved, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
