It was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were spotless. There were plenty of hooks, washcloths and towels. It was centrally located in the historical part of Alba. There was a lot of space. We loved it. Carlo was an exceptional host, and he went above and beyond what any traveler would expect. He was also an exceptional chef who provided an outstanding breakfast. We loved everything about our stay.

This place is an absolute must for anyone coming to Alba. Carlo and his wife are so friendly and so helpful - and just incredibly kind. The place is gorgeous, the bed is unbelievably comfortable, and the breakfast is insanely good. Carlo makes the best forcaccia and scrambled eggs on the planet. He met us on foot the first day and walked us to the B&B and parked the car for us. Helped me with dinner reservations weeks before we we even arrived. Even his choice of music to play at breakfast from his vinyl collection was spot on. . I give this experience an 11 out of 10. Do NOT even consider staying anywhere else in Alba

Wonderful bed and breakfast located in the heart of Alba. Carlo and his wife Sylvia were amazing hosts, preparing a high quality breakfast spread each morning, and offering local recommendations along the way. The apartment has a homely feel to it, with access to a huge range of records, CDs and wine, and the decor has a simplistic yet modern feel to it. Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, and would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely decoration, and great location. We especially loved the warm welcome by Carlo who gave lots of local tips. Great breakfast too.

We had a great weekend at Alma Bed & Breakfast in Alba, from our amazing host Carlo picking me up from the bus station to excellent restaurant recommendations and a delicious breakfast made of local specialities. This place feels like home away from home
