A Gem in the Emerald City: For Business and Travel

The apartment was in an ideal location for our activities and perfectly comfortable. The cookware and dishware were higher quality than most rentals and the outdoor space was truly special. Beyond the patio with table and chairs the steps down to a terraced garden with arbor was so cool. We met the neighbor who did the landscaping and decorating and she was lovely -- and even gave us a great recommendation for breakfast on our way out of town: the Bay Cafe was a delicious end to a beautiful and comfortable weekend. Thank you!

We had to move the hotplate for the cord to reach an outlet so that might be something to look into.

Very comfortable and relaxing apartment with a nice view from patio. Super clean and lots of nice touches to make you feel at home including coffee and tea. Eco-friendly property as well plus it was very cool on hot days we were there. Uber service was quick to and from this location.

Walking to restaurants/bars wasn't the easiest as although they weren't far it's a very steep hill back to apartment which is tough on anyone older or not used to such hikes...especially with a full stomach.

This is the lower level of a sweet old bungalow set on a hill, so the apartment has good natural light. You also have a lovely patio garden to enjoy, complete with an eating area. The view is great, as are the garden plantings. Inside is warm and inviting, with saturated colors and Indian (Hindu) artwork. There's a lovely yoga nook, and both bedrooms are cozy. Shower is excellent in the bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking on the street was never an issue, because this is a quiet residential neighborhood. We really enjoyed using this as our base in Seattle and highly recommend it.

The lighting was confusing at first, but once we figured it out, everything was fine.

This place was so beautiful and in a very safe location. It was clean and spacious and the garden was beautiful. We had a great view and the interior met all our needs!

Quiet, comfortable

Great location -- very clean, comfortable, well equipped and lots of room. Beautiful view from the lovely patio.

Upon arriving, the apt had not been cleaned since the previous guest, sheets & bedding lying around. Bathroom not cleaned, kitchenette dirty. Contacted owner to resolve but heard nothing back - attempted 3 additional times - to this day heard nothing back from them. Getting my money back seems unlikely as well. Terrible start to our 4 day trip!

Was easy to get to

The pics on line make you think that you get the house but only get the basement. The coffee pot had mold from old coffee and the filer also. The bathroom mirror was off the wall and in another room on the floor. Beds are hard as a rock. The bathroom was leaking from somewhere and a constant puddle on the floor. Sorry but was way too much money for what was provided. The worst part was the host started burning incense and my why lost her voice because she is allergic to smoke smell.
