8 Duke Street - Launceston Cornwall

House was lovely, clean. There was everything what needs. Comfortable bed what is very important.

The location in relation to Launceston and the surrounding area is good, and there is a local bus that goes from a stop near Duke Street into town.

There is a washing machine and an iron but nothing on which to hang wet washing - in the end, we had to hang it on the furniture and radiators - a clothes line or clothes drying rack should be available. The only reason not to rent it again is that we ourselves did not have a car, but we had friend locally who picked us up by car each day - and there is NOWHERE to park nearby, so she could never come in. On one occasion she had to park in town and we took the bus up to Duke Street. I understand that you can't change this situation, but I think some mention of it should be made in the brochure, as anyone expecting to travel by car will likely find it very difficult.

Really nicely laid out, and very clean. Had everything we needed. Lovely kitchen area. Overall, a really lovely home.

The parking will be an issue if you struggle with parallel parking. We did manage to park along the road during the weekend we stayed. The WiFi isn’t very good and we couldn’t get any channels on the tv apart from bbc 1 & 2.

Very comfortable, nicely decorated and super comfy beds. Very clean and welcoming - with even a food hamper awaiting us. Convenient location. Excellent housekeeping support.

Parking is very difficult, would benefit the owners to seek an arrangement with the golf course up the road for visitors to use the car park. The cooker hood did not work on our stay and irritatingly slow wifi which might affect someone needed if remote connections.

Lovely, fully equipped house. Massive bedrooms and big beds. House has everything you need. Enclosed garden great for the dog.

Parking. Parking is on street and, due to the nature of the street, is on one side of the road only, which means houses on both sides of the road are competing for parking spaces. As a result, because we were out until well into the evening most days, we were only able to actually park on Duke Street twice in the 7 days we stayed.

Clean and tidy

Open plan downstairs was good for everyone and spacious bedrooms were great for the family. easy access to the property and garden area was enclosed which was great for the dogs.

Bin inside wasn’t emptied before we arrived and smelt, mould growing.
