15 min to West Yellowstone/Amazing Views

The house was super clean, very comfortable beddings, and great location, minutes to Yellowstone. It had amenities for our family like kitchen items, bathroom necessities, etc. It had most of what we need for a family stay. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful yet gave us the independence of having our own place. The view, the view is super duper spectacular.

The yard could have been more kempt, but we really did not have time to use the outdoor facilities. The two guest rooms did not have closets so, there should be hooks to hang clothes. I can understand though that they may damage the nice wooden walls in the rooms.

The property is up a steep unsealed driveway. You may have issues with a hire car as they typically prohibit use on unsealed roads. We had a front wheel drive car and whilst we got up without issues, we could see someone having problems making it to the top. The accommodation was also poorly stocked. There were some food staples provided, but they were all about a year out of date. There is also a fire pit but no wood provided. Given the price of the place, it would have been nice to have provided fire wood.

The air conditioner is strange. The vent is indoors, which means cold air and hot air are simultaneously in the room. Besides, the mosquito is a lot, though not biting. However, the accommodation is really good.

The house is amazing and the views are awesome. Distance to the west entrance of Yellowstone is good (indeed around 15 minutes) Beds are comfortable and the WiFi is good quality

The road towards the house is unpaved and steep, not a problem for our rental, however I am not sure if it would have made the climb in winter time.

We loved the wide assortment of pillows for sleeping. That was very thoughtful. The cabin is perfectly placed on a hill with exquisite views. The beds were comfy. Having fans and screens were a plus.

My only suggestions would be to improve comfortable seating in the living room. Maybe one more plush chair because we were a group of 5. The lighting was slightly harsh and the hood vent did not work when we cooked bfast sandwiches.

It felt like home and the view was amazing 😍

The road to get up there was a little sketchy but not bad
