"Great apartment in a great location"

It was easy to collect the key and the apartment had everything we needed. Quiet location and we didn't hardly see or hear from the other residents in the building. Clean apartment. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. The location is great. Approx 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop on McDonald Road. Approx 25 min walk to Waverley Station.

For the price I don't think I could have any complaints about the apartment.

"Apartamento amplio algo alejado del Centro."

Alojamiento amplio con dos habitaciones y una sala de estar con cocina, las camas no demasiado grandes, una de matrimonio, una de cuerpo y medio y el sofá-cama del salón. Cocina equipada. Para pasar un par de días no está mal aunque está un poco retirado del centro pero se puede coger el autobús de la línea uno.

Se oyen ruidos en la habitación principal. Creemos que hay un palomar en el tejado. Son tres pisos sin ascensor por si vas muy cargado con maletas puede resultar incómodo.

The advertisment indicated that there were 3 beds. In fact it was two beds and a couch. There was no instructions on where to find the extra bedding for the couch. Our small child fell off the couch in the night. I emailed the owner to indicate we would be leaving and staying at another property on the second night. They agreed to a refund for the second night however have not provided the refund nor responded to our follow up emails.

"not what i expected"

abbeyhill neighbourhood is actualy close to city center and in the same time close to.portobello beach. about 15 minutes by bus (a lot of them). and maybe a 25-35 min walk also in either direction. london road and croal pl and leith walk are 10 min by foot. lots of pubs and cosy restaurants. the flat has everything you need.

the building itself is quite dirty, up the staircase smells like any other comunist block of flats with insalubre mouldy basements. a lot of animal hair and it is quite clear that there is no one to clean or at least maintain a decent level of cleanliness. from one appartment is always smelling like fried onion and garlic and mixed with the fowel smell of the staircase I was in a rush to get out... easy while descending but up the 60 steps till the last door it was a challange. the flat itself also has a moist mouldy odor, not something that you cannot live with for couple of days but far from "nice" or cosy... poor ventilation makes the cooking process a treat.... if you are old and have bad legs bare in mind that there is no elevator.... if i would had come here while in college it would had beed luxurious!!! for my personal income it is not value for money.. next time in edingburgh i will book a hotel even if the price wil be a little biit more spicy. i realy do not like the fact that i was looking at pictures out of the context like the iluminator celling window which is by the way very dirty and at the top of the smelly common staircase and NOT in the flat itself.

Good space for a short trip and good location. Reasonably well stocked kitchen

Wasn't the cleanest, and couldn't get in touch with anyone from the property (all automated messages). Freezer was jammed open with ice, place just needs a bit of TLC to sort a few issues.

"Great city, okay apartment"

Good location, 7 minutes walk from the Royal Mile. Spacious for 3 people, bathroom and apartment was clean on first inspection. Some amenities placed in the cupboards and spare towels available.

Sofa bed was broken, so unusable. We saw a mouse in the large bedroom and the host was unresponsive through the app when we notified them about the broken bed. Communication could have been better. There is no lift to the top floor which should also be communicated
