Charlies Queenstown Studio Apt 103B

The full experience the only thing I could fault is I didn't get as much info as my brother did for his room in the same facility. As in bins location , spa info , laundry , etc had to find out our selves but over all beautiful experience.

The lack of info

Walking distance to town centre.

Dislike: 1) There is no kitchen and no kitchen sink. 2) The microwave oven is located too high. For safety reasons, it should be relocated to less than 1.3m in height. 3) The base of the shower screen is leaking. Like: Towels and beddings are clean and comfortable.

Queenstown is such a lovely place & we got some nice weather. We were in an area 1.3 km walking distance from the city centre (the Wharf) . Bed was comfortable, but it was 2 singles put together. All appliances were clean. .

This unit 103B is privately owned & is not part of the HighView Apartments. No view, but didn't expect one. 2 lots of stairs down into Apartment. You are given a code to get into the door to allow access to 103 A/B foyer then a code for 103B all via email. Once inside you are then instructed to do what is expected of you, not allowed communication with HighView Apartment Staff. Room will not be serviced by them. No service will be given to you unless you ring the number given on informational Paper work. The doors are very heavy & hard to open & being in a little foyer with the other Apartment 103A meant you can hear them open & shut doors as they hear you the same. Nothing you can do to minimise the bang & echo. There are no windows, only a door to an outside area, where other guests can look down on you. Parking is tight but you do get a parking spot & park wherever a spare spot is. Coffee/sugar in jars (not packaged) on the counter. No milk for your 1st cuppa. You are required (via paperwork) to wash all your dishes. The hand basin in bathroom next to the toilet, then do one at a time & take it to counter in bedroom to drying area. Basin is a small shallow one. Shower is in bath & you can not turn on water taps until you get into bath. A huge shower wall takes up 3/4 of the edge of bath. Didn't appear to have a fan for bathroom that we could find. Need to take all your rubbish with you. Bins are up the stairs & under car port. $80 an hour to clean up after you if they deem it necessary. 1.3 km from city centre & walk down is ok but if you struggle with hills then you will need to either drive down ( good luck to find a park or pay $3.30 approx per 30 mins) or catch a taxi. Very busy gorgeous city so parking is a headache to find.

Super comfy and with all the facilities

Bed was nice and comfortable, bathroom clean and well presented. Outside area was nice, but didn't like the idea of people being able to look down on you.

I know there was cooking facilities available, so there was no sink, had to wash cutlery and cups in bathroom handbasin, Not good. Very noisey doors when closing, could hear people opening and closing doors all night, TV in my room the picture kept freezing and wouldn't change to another, 1 channel had No sound at all.

It’s on ground floor, like basement. Can’t see sky from window.

Clean, neat and tidy. Good water pressure. Super comfy king size bed. Would recommend 100% And will re book for my next trip
