Location. It was perfect for our family trip. This hotel is a short 20 minute drive to the Henry Ford Museum, 30 minutes to the Detroit Zoo (with traffic), about 23 minute drive from the Detroit Aquarium.

The first room had a nasty smell of fish. There was Vaseline/grease like substance smudged on the desktop. It also looked like it had hair. After a 4 hour road trip and 4 hours at the aquarium and Henry Ford museum combined, we just wanted to decompress immediately after check in. That was not a pleasant sight or smell to walk into. However, the hotel agent gave us a clean and quiet room within minutes.

Staff was not friendly at all. Allowing kids to run in the lobby, very loud and very disrespectful disruptive and not with their parents.

The staff were very friendly and I like that the rooms have hardwood floors.

The room was clean but not deep cleaned enough. I wish the shower was deep cleaned more.
