Ad un passo da tutto

Esperienza terribile. Siamo arrivati e c'era una puzza nauseante di fognatura. Il proprietario invece di scusarsi e procedere con un rimborso ci ha detto che è normale e bastava solo scaricare l'acqua un paio di volte (peccato che l'odore è rimasto tale dalla sera alla mattina seguente). È inconcepibile che io paghi per avere queste condizioni al limite e rischi di sentirmi male

la stanza è molto accogliente, un mini appartamento, ottimo per due persone, pulito e super comodo.

The apartment’s location was great, as per the distance to the center (About 10-15 minutes walking). The apartment’s appliances were working fine, and the host had left us all the needed information for the WiFi on the table, a bottle of cold water in the fridge (life-saving when you arrive late at night and there’s nothing open around) and clear instructions for the entrance. Both the terraces were great, and there’s a small room where a clothing dryer and a broom can be found, in case of need, and there’s a washing machine in case it’s needed.

1. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and we saw no elevator - not a problem for us, just leaving this here for people who might need this info when booking. 2. As said above, the apartment was absolutely fine. The only thing we’d like to point out is that it could be a bit better cleaned. Ex, the sheets could be washed with a softener to make them smell fresher, and it would be nice to check on little details like the soap container-it looked old and could be changed. Nothing really dirty, but it could be dusted off a bit better.

The property really owns up to its name! It takes about 15 minutes to get to the main square, and about 25 minutes to get to the beach by foot. It’s rather modest in terms of space and equipment, but there’s all you need if you plan to spend all days and nights out. Really nothing to complain about at this price! There’s a TV if you want to connect your laptop, a fully equipped kitchen and a private rooftop terrace that seals the great deal for the apartment at this price point.

The rooftop terrace could’ve been cleaned before our stay, but considering the unpredictable weather in Catania it’s difficult to keep it clean at all times, so we didn’t mind doing a tiny bit of cleaning ourselves
