Foxtail Orchards - The Fox Den

Very scenic location

The screen door needed fixing. The weather strip at the bottom of the front door was in bad shape. At least 1/2 inch gap that would allow any type of crawling bugs to come in.

Rustic, quiet and relaxing. Was on the Back of the Dragon, which our main reason for the trip was to ride the Back of the Dragon. I really like that they honor fallen law enforcement officers.

The driveway was not very motorcycle friendly. The driveway had a lot of debris on it (twigs and stones). The parking spot at the cabin was not level at all, even though it appeared to be. This caused our bike to go over when we parked it, causing some serious cosmetic damage to the bike. We had to park off of the driveway to keep the bike upright. The front porch had a very nice view but the chairs could certainly use a little upgrade from 2 ratty bag chairs.

The property is a great place to stay.

A very clean and comfortable lodging. We loved setting on the deck and watching the sun set on the surrounding mountains. Liked the naming of the cabins.

Watch that you don't get off the steep pavement as you could get stuck. The host was great in coming and pulling us up and out.

Great location, clean inside, paved parking area, no cell service - spent the time together instead of with our devices

Parking was very sloped, no cell service - hard to make plans and check in with family

The location was great, and the bed was comfortable. Area for the most part was quiet.

I did not realize that there wasn't a TV, WIFI, and sketchy cell service. There were plenty of games but no table or chairs with backs inside the cabin. I could have used a bedside table. Due to the sketchy cell service my communication with owners did not come through until I was in town. If you can't disconnect do not book here.

It is just want we need without being in a hotel

May need some gripping material on the steps it was frozen in the morning. The pilot was not lite on the gas heaters it was ok with electric heat but it was loud and it ran all night

Very comfortable bed, kitchen fully equipped, glorious views and singing birds. Considerate hosts even left bug spray for unprepared outdoor folk.

It was very nice, it was serene and quiet! We had a very nice time!
