Ashenhurst, woodland lodge with hot tub for 4

The property was clean and tidy, and had everything you wanted in a self catering lodge. Plus the hot tub was amazing

Didn’t really dislike anything about the place, but it would be nice if there was a small park for children to play.

The area and scenery was incredible and lodge was very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed for our short stay.

The lodge was very open which was okay however the front door had a window installed next to it with no curtains and towards the night it let a lot of light into the lodge which felt a bit intrusive as we had no way to shut it out not keep people from being able to look in however the rest of the rooms in the lodge were perfect.

Nothing.

The property was so clean! It’s exactly how it looks in the photographs. We really liked how comfy the beds were, we had such good sleep whilst there. You get parking right outside of your lodge, enough space for two cars. The hot tub was really nice, also very clean. People came to do their checks every morning. I’m really glad I read reviews on other sites to mention that you do need to take own hand soap / extra toilets rolls etc. but we were provided with a few dish washer tablets and a multi purpose spray. Excellent location and close to some amazing places to visit. We have already said we’d love to go back!

It got quite warm at night, but this wasn’t a major issue as we had brought our own fans.
