Escape Ordinary at Castle Hume No 4

The Location is fabulous, a walkers paradise! Several messages from Anne checking all was ok. Beds were very comfortable, Rooms modern & spacious. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Small issue with the heating which needed to be reset but Anne was very prompt to respond and get it sorted when contacted.

Great location, very close to Enniskillen. The house was a good size, perfect for our group of 6. We loved the courtyard access for the kids to get out and play/explore, and the golf course was lovely to walk around and stretch the legs. It was tastefully decorated, and beds/seats were all very comfy.

The most annoying thing was that they had no cleaning products in the kitchen, bar about a teaspoon of washing up liquid, and a smelly used old sponge. There was a dishwasher as well, but there were no tablets to use it! We contacted them twice through whatsapp and on the booking.com message service to advise and we didn't even get acknowledgement of the issue, despite them contacting us twice through the booking.com message service after we had left our messages to ask if we had everything we needed and please give us a good review... They also didn't stock simple things in the kitchen like salt and pepper, or tea/coffee... for the price, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have items like these in the kitchen.... every other self-catering stay I've ever been to has, at minimum, had these items The Internet was dodgy, too. It kept dropping out, which was annoying for when the kids wanted to watch a movie. We hadn't planned to spend as much time inside as we did, unfortunately the weather this time of year is unpredictable at best!
