Comfortable clean very close to the ancient city and shops

The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave good suggestions and was prepared with maps of the area and some great suggestions of places to go and see and eat. Very pleasant host for our short stay. The bathrooms were amazing and everything was very clean.

Didn't love the beds, they were a bit uncomfortable and I wish that they would have communicated that the one "bedroom" was really a living room and the double bed in there was a hide a bed. We were 7 people and that information would have maybe been helpful if we were staying longer than 1 night as the bed situation was not great.

The apartment is a very new renovation in a part of town that is a very short walk to the part of Matera that you will be exploring. The owner gave us many recommendations and a thorough briefing on arrival. The facilities of the apartment are top notch. Better than a high end hotel.

It was located in the old town, with a breathtaking view!

The air conditioning wasn’t the best and considering the high temperatures it was quite uncomfortable.

A wonderful renovated appartment, very modern, with all conveniences to the smallest detail. The location is superb as it is close to the center but still on a tranquil street. It was impeacably clean and the the host Massimiliano and Valeria were so nice, welcoming and helpful. They made us feel very welcome, gave us a lot of advice as to what so see in the town, and were available in case of any questions. They provided a cot for our baby and even had breakfast, water, milk and all necessities stored in the kitchen for us. It is the perfect place to stay with family or friends and guarantee you will have the best time. It is really rare that you encounter such a great place and such kind and gentle hosts.

Host was waiting for us and held a street parking spot for us. Otherwise, it would have been really difficult to find a spot in the evenings. Location is 1.5 blocks away from central Matera.
