Abergwaun Apt 3

We didn’t get to stay at apt 3 due to problems with the property, the excellent scoring given is for the owners response, Mr Davies, to the issues. Called up prior to us arriving to advise we would be unable to stay at apt 3 due to the ongoing problems. Mr Davies offered a choice of alternative accommodation, both of which were an upgrade to apt 3. We chose a 4 bed cottage over the hotel stay with complementary breakfast due to my anxiety about being around out socially. Wow wow wow I was not prepared for walking into the cottage! 3 floors, 4 bathrooms (2 en-suites) a games room with pool table, 2 sitting areas one with a balcony, use of a barbecue and a hot tub!!! This was a major upgrade to apt 3 and we are very thankful to Mr Davies for the alternative accommodation, what could have been a very stressful phone call and stay turned out to be an amazing few days away. Mr Davies even took the time to come and see us and check everything was ok with the cottage and apologised in person for asking us to move. No apologies were needed at all. The situation was well handled and caused no stress whatsoever. Mr Davies has a few accommodations in Aberystwyth and because of how helpful, friendly, efficient and kind he was I would try to book at one of his establishments every time we visit. Thank you so much Mr Davies!

The cottage was absolutely perfect.

The host cancelled our booking two hours before check in and offered no alternative accommodation leaving us without anywhere to stay. We had to book somewhere else last minute at a much higher cost. The host was rude and very unhelpful.

These apartments are fantastic amazing location ,clean,if you want the freedom and independence

Smell of damp as you enter building and lucky we could park at the back of hotel because there is no parking at all anywhere

We travelled with friends so it was nice to be all together instead of separate hotel rooms. It was comfortable and cosy
