PLThe location was good, and the good size of caravan. Clean, nice beach
On the arrival, there were no keys for us to enter the caravan. After 30 minutes of trying to get the keys, the lady owner arrived and brought the keys. The caravan itself is good, and I believe it was luxury once upon a time, but the best days are the past. Dirty place, dirty, stained carpets, not cleaned properly anywhere, dirty and sticky floors, stained, unfresh and unwashed bedding in main bedroom and for sofa bed, left for new guests (sprayed by strong chemicals?), children's bedding clean but strong smell of chemicals made both berooms unhealthy to stay in without opening all windows for a few hours first. There was no proper bedding for a sofa-bed despite booking for 6 people. Towels provided only for main bedroom, no towels for children,or adults sleeping in living room either. Both showers need to be fixed. Dirty cooking pot and disgusting freezer (with old melted meat inside) and dirty fridge. Spider webs everywhere, disgustingly dirty cooker hood 🤢. Beds comfy, but sofa-bed very uncomfortable and tatty. The owner may have a different opinion, so let's photos speak. Unfortunately, I'm allowed to attach only 4 photos, but I can provide much more upon the request. The right maintenance required to make this place inviting. Needs more effort to maintain this place, put customers' health & safety before profits.
GBIt was beautiful inside very homely and comfortable and clean. In an accessible place for surrounding areas. The bar on the site had entertainment both Friday and Saturday night. We both had a lovely weekend. Highly recommended.
GBLovely clean lodge! The owner went above and beyond for us to make sure we could get in early and it was all ready for us. Beds were comfy and the site that it’s on is lovely with great amenities.
The only thing was the decking wasn’t as clean as could be. So didn’t really use it although it was really hot.
GBGBBedrooms were a good size, especially the en-suite. It made such a difference having 2 bathrooms as well.
The only thing I would say is that the cushions on the outside furniture were covered in seagull droppings, this is due to people not taking them in when not in use.
