Maison agréable

La maison mitoyenne était en travaux Rénovation complète Réveil vers 7 h du matin par la perceuse, le marteau… Impossible de profiter de l’intérieur ou de l’extérieur tous les matins à cause du bruit Cette maison ne devrait pas être à la location pendant la durée des travaux

The town and location are excellent. Owner was very responsive to requests. The hot tub was nice but typically European safe "warm" temperatures. The walking trails around town and to Mahon are outstanding. We walked to 3 Talayotic monuments in the cool sunlight. Magnificent.

Apparently there is off season construction all over Menorca during the daytime. So you may hear construction noise if you are home in the daytime. Also the heater in the pool did not seem to be working but it was fixed on our last day there.

The house was very large. The host was very good and showed us round the whole property. Most kitchen implements were included except a kettle (Brits need a kettle!). The TV room and pool table were fantastic.

The pool and jacuzzi were far too cold to use, even when heated. This was disappointing. The walls are very thin and the neighbours complained about the TV even though it was not that loud. There was building work next door which was noisy from 0730 on weekdays with very loud banging and drilling. We should have been told about this when we booked the house. The kitchen cooker has a very low extractor fan which we kept banging our heads on. Very bad design feature. Some of the sinks were blocked and water would not easily drain away.

It was very spacious in quiet surroundings with all the amenities you could possibly need, both in the house and in the immediate surrounding area. We also used the pool table and pool at every opportunity. It was great fun!

There was nothing to dislike.
