B&B Casa del Vicario

The location of the B&B is a lovely little street which is very inviting and romantic. The B&B is very clean and the staff extremely friendly. We benefited from a great recommendation at the other restaurant that belongs to the same owner where diner was fantastic. Breakfast was also good! We want to come back and explore the region some more.

La casa, pur essendo antica, è stata ristrutturata con grande cura e gusto, mantenendo il fascino originale ma offrendo al tempo stesso tutti i comfort moderni. La camera era spaziosa, ben arredata e curata nei minimi dettagli, segno dell’attenzione e della passione dei proprietari. Il letto, ampio e comodo, con un materasso perfettamente bilanciato, ha garantito un ottimo riposo. La colazione è stata davvero eccellente: varia, abbondante e con prodotti sia dolci che salati di alta qualità. Un’esperienza piacevole e rilassante, che consigliamo a chi cerca un soggiorno autentico e raffinato.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche im Apartment ist super ausgestattet. Das kleine aber sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet war wirklich gut und man merkt dass Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Trotzdem möchte ich am Rande anmerken, dass das Apartment im obersten Stock nicht viel Sonnenlicht bieten, da die Fenster sehr klein sind. Das Zusatzbett (Bettsofa) war zu zweit recht unbequem. Trotzdem würde ich die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

The apartment was comfortable and clean and there were nice walks to take close to the apartment. The panoramic views from the nearby castle and restaurant are spectacular.

Beautifully renovated old house. Our room had a large balcony looking over the town and the countryside. Close to walks to top of the hill with magnificent mountain views. We visited one of the two restaurants at the top of the hill. Friendly staff who arranged a very good local taxi to Udine.

Location at top of the hill meant a steep walk down and up to access caffès and restaurants as near restaurants closed on Monday and Tuesday. Without a car not possible to visit other places in Fagagna, so we only stayed 2 of the 5 nights we had booked.
