El Nial de Los Pinos

Wonderful warm welcome from Fernando. Next to a river peaceful and wonderful mountain views. Parking on property. The cottage is tastefully decorated and clean. It was a pleasure to come back to in the evening after a day’s sightseeing. Highly recommended.

Wonderful welcome with excellent directions, brilliant recommendations and a gem of a place overlooking the river Diva.

El Nial de Los Pinos is a most wonderful property, situated in idyllic surroundings. The host Leonardo provided excellent directions which led us to our accommodation. Peacefulness was guaranteed and greatly enjoyed during our four day stay. Located close to Potes and access to many spectacular sightseeing routes. The accommodation was very well appointed and had everything needed. We would certainly plan to return to this location again.

If any place deserves an 11 Rating, this place is it. Location was wonderful. It combined the quiet of being in the country, with easy simple walking or driving access to Potes and Ojedo towns Quiet & Peaceful. Open and airy and breezy. Beautiful views across the river to the mountains. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen amd enjoyed the views from the picture window. The host and hostess were always most helpful, and this can be important if you don't already know the area. The place was clean as a whistle. The Air Conditioner was a Mitsubishi and worked a real treat as needed. We had relaxing chairs to sit outside. Along with a table and chairs for eating or drinking on the large open patio space. We didn't need it, but the place has a covered charge connection for EVs. The bed was luscious. We slept really well. The place is nestled in a beautiful country setting with a river running past it. This place has the best of both worlds - country and town. We are already talking about coming here on our next year's trip.

Everything and our friendly landlord was present when needed but was not intrusive. We had a machine malfunction which was sorted to our satisfaction. The views of the mountains and the river were superb. The garden was lovely. Easy parking. Good WiFi. Small but adequate kitchen. Bed was comfy. Shower was great.

The location was great with a lovely view over the river and valley. The apartment is joined to the main house but felt very private and not overlooked at all. Parking was very secure, being inside the property boundary. Very quiet at night. Local amenities (groceries, fuel) were all within 1 km. Lots of local walking options. Fuente Dé with cable car access to the higher ground is only a short distance away. Spotlessly clean! Host very welcoming and helpful.

Bathroom is a little cramped - but this is trivial and the only slightly negative thing I could find to criticise.
