USView was amazing! Beds were comfy. Deck with rocker was fantastic.
I like the 80s vibe but it was clear the cabin is being kept up only to the bare minimum. Cobwebs in the ceilings, windows take a lot of effort to open, stuffy inside, old carpet, shower head covered in hard water buildup. Also the water was hot only long enough to shampoo our hair. I really wanted to like this place, and it was fine for one night to check out the view, otherwise it’s just not my kind of stay for the cost.

USWithout a doubt the best feature of the property is the breathtaking views of the waterfront and surrounding mountains. The property makes the most of the views and location with a 1000ft sq (approx) deck overlooking the bay, harbor, and surrounding mountains. The deck is equipped with a hot tub, fire pit, swing, and furniture. The property is located close to the train station, downtown, waterfront, cruise port, and is easily accessible via a short walk from anywhere. The hosts were helpful and responsive to my questions and offered a recommendation for luggage storage which we used both coming from the train from Anchorage and on departure for our cruise
The place is rustic. It is a full log cabin home with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The place provides ample room and most comforts needed for a short stay. For a longer stay of a week or more it might be challenging as the refrigerator is small and would not hold more than a few days of necessaries. However, there is a Safeway a little over a mile from the place which is an easy walk and is accessible via the free shuttle

USWe ate breakfast at an adorable restaurant called Resurrection Art Coffee House. Delicious coffee and breakfast place. It uses to be a church.
