Villa La Sola B&B and Self-Catering

Beautiful room, nicely decorated and very comfortable, with polite and helpful staff. The bed was superb and really warm although it was very cold in Johannesburg. Nice to have a fridge, a kitchenette and a table to eat in the room. The garden is lovely and they let me stay there for a while after check-out. The location is great if you are flying from O.R. Tambo

The shower is in big contrast with everything else in the accommodation. There’s not much water pressure and it’s impossible to get the temperature you want, it goes from boiling to cold when you turn the shower knob a millimetre. Also, I wasted some water after I opened the left knob, which is usually for hot water, and it never changed. Only then did I try the other one, it would be helpful to know that beforehand.

It was conveniently located close to the airport as we had to catch a 8am flight. We arrived at 11pm, and the host greeted us with a smile. Check in was very smooth. The room was big enough for 3 people to be in comfortably.

Friendly staff, facilities were over and above expectation. Very warm and welcoming staff member, will to assist and the friendly pets, makes it like home. Beautiful place and well managed.
