The hosts were on their own holidays but even then the communication was superb. Our ferry was cancelled and when it looked like we may have to move the dates they were incredibly accommodating. The location is stunning, perfect for touring Lewis and Harris. House was spotless and beds very comfy.

Having to leave

It had everything we needed and was just like a home from home. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. Stunning views of the nearby beach which was just a short walk away. Wished we’d booked for another week! Hosts extremely kind and helpful when our ferry was cancelled.

Phone signal a bit hit and miss but only to be expected due to location.

Clean, well provisioned, plenty of space for family of 5 and a dog. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good views of northern lights!

Not a lot!

Ideally situated, well-appointed, comfortable. Felt like a home.

The WiFi, and consequently streaming services, was poor. Not an issue for a ‘get away from it all’ point of view, but an issue for a ‘2-year-old needs entertaining’ point of view. 🤣

Beautiful location. Close to beach and tourist destinations.

Could have had clearer instructions for appliances etc. we accidentally switched the fridge off one day.

Location is fantastic, lovely house and everything you need.

The property was amazing. We lacked nothing. The furnishings were exceptional, the beds, the sofas, the dining table and chairs. The views. A dream property in a dream location.
