Communication from host before arrival and during our stay was very good. The property was easy to find and check in very straight forward. Accommodation had everything we needed and the croissants, jam, milk were all a nice touch. Very tastefully decorated and very clean with even a little outdoor seating area. For us the location was the biggest plus - midway between Stratford Town and Stratford Racecourse - (both an easy 10-15 walk) with a lovely village just across the road.

Really enjoyed our stay. The Snug was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. The location is great. Short walk to Anne Hathaway’s cottage and handy pub serving good food very close by. The walk into Stratford centre is a pleasant 15- 20 mins. The Snug is certainly compact but they’ve made the most of the space and it’s decorated beautifully.

The front door is right on the edge of a busy but not noisy road that has a narrow pavement. Not a problem but gives you a bit of a shock if you step out as a car is passing. It’s close to a junction so not at speed. On our first night the boards of the floor above us creaked very noisily as someone was wandering around. We thought we might need to unplug the fridge overnight as quite loud but in the end didn’t bother. Over all small things that did not spoil our enjoyment.
