Riverside Suites - Unit A

We loved the location! The unit is right above SaugaTaco (excellent food!) and on the river, so we could sit on the balcony and enjoy a beautiful river view. Across the street is Ida's Red Cottage, an amazing place for breakfast, and a 5 minute walk takes you to the shops and other restaurants in this quaint town. The apartment was spotless, and super comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace, the basket of treats, the very comfortable bed, and the huge windows.

We were awakened one morning at 5:00 a.m. by fishermen talking, as they were directly below us on the river. That only happened once, so I'm not sure of their schedule. Also, the check out time is 10:00 a.m. There would have been a charge if we wanted to check out just an hour later, and in my opinion, an 11:00 a.m. check out would allow for a more relaxed morning and offer better value.

Great location and patio on the river

85 degrees indoors. Management company overseeing the apartment was very laissez-faire regarding air conditioning being inoperable. Very hard to contact or have a conversation with them despite being in their working hours.

The only thing was that there was some strange noises coming either from the downstairs business or the heater. We couldn’t figure it out

Location was perfect! The apartment was incredibly clean, great size and walkable to all the food and shoppes. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we would still rent here again in a heartbeat! Loved being on the water, too.

It was modern, well-equipped, bright & cheerful, great three-sided view of the channel and tastefully decorated.

Not that we watch a lot of TV but the tv was small. We could not get the fireplace to work
