Miscommittment .. Misguidance.. Mismanagement

I am currently (at the time of this note) at Genius Level 2 (about to be level 3) on Booking.com. I have been using BOOKING.COM since many years for traveling alone, & also when I travel with family. I made a booking yesterday for LOKAL ROOMS, CAVALRY, Lahore on Booking.com (21-24Dec.). CONFIRMATION NO.4143338221, PIN CODE: 2480, During my travel, I received a call from the hotel, telling me that the booking was only TENTATIVE, and I MUST transfer the ENTIRE booking amount to them. I told them, that the booking was confirmed as per Booking.Com, but he insisted that it is NOT confirmed. Since I was traveling with my family, to avoid any challenges upon arrival, I made the required transfer. I have the screen shot of the messages and the transfer receipt. After the transfer was made and the entire payment was already transferred, I received another call telling me that the rooms I had booked were NOT available and they will give me a room at their other facility with the same name. Upon arrival, I was guided to, and offered a room at Hotel Premier Inn Gulberg (also available on Booking.com). I had already seen this but did NOT book this hotel even though it was MUCH CHEAPER than LOKAL ROOMS. In short, they cheated me through Booking.com by charging me for one higher rated hotel (LOKAL ROOMS CAVALRY, Rated 10) and putting me in Hotel Premier Inn Gulberg (Rated 7.6) and costs a lot less than the one I had paid for. Secondly, and a very important point to share. The second day, I browsed to search for hotels and AGAIN found availability in LOKAL ROOMS. Hence, I called them and asked them to accommodate me, to which they replied, “Sorry we are full”. This means, they are using BOOKING.COM as a platform to CON people. You book LOKAL ROOM rated 10, insist on FULL advance payment and when you arrive there, they put you in a cheaper hotel. Since I booked through Booking.Com, I am, therefore, requesting Booking.
