Loved all the African details in the unit and the main area. Secluded in the bush but safe.

Beautiful and quiet place. Friendly staff, Paulos and Johan are great guys. Perfect food. Very flexible.

The food, compliments to the chef Paulos. And the warm welcome from the 3 gentlemen Paulos, John and Giverson. The guys assisted with everyone from cleaning or rooms every chance they got without disturbing us to carrying our back to and from our chalet. And Paulos made sure we are well fed throughout 😊. We had all the privacy we needed and the place is beautiful, definitely coming back

The accommodation is great and the staff are super efficient, friendly and accommodating. Paulos the chef is brilliant! Every meal and snack was delicious. The views from the lodge are fantastic and the game drives are great too. We can't recommend this place enough!

What a true hidden Gem!!! Nestled on the side of the mountains, overlooking the planes of Mabula. Tranquil, peaceful, quiet...Soul food!! What an amazing stay. The attention to detail in the lodge, each room..making every second with your loved one a romantic journey, a connection of hearts, soul and minds. The Chef's immaculate food..world class!! This is heaven on earth.

Going home.....

This place is really special. The setting & decor are just 5 star+, the service is exceptional. Paulos will have you dining like a King & Queen, what a gentleman. We had a lovely 50th celebration for my Partner, the entire place felt exclusive to us. The game drives were also our ultimate Africa dream.

Water poured through the thatch roof of our bedroom when it rained. There was a rodent of some sort in our room. Another couple in one of the other rooms also had a rodent guest sharing their room.

Firstly, upon entering the reception, you come across a house built into the rock with a unique mix of wood and stones. Everything very well decorated with elegance. Very similar to what is on the website. Chef Paulos, who welcomes us, is an unusual human being, always very happy and laughing a lot, he is the one who prepares our meals, which are a feast to delight us. The food is fabulous, served in great portions and with lots of love and care. The main flavor is undoubtedly Paulos' laughs. The room is very spacious with magnificent decoration. Super comfortable bed and great air conditioning (but you can also sleep with the doors open). It features different environments to enjoy, with a bathtub and outdoor shower (at night, the starry sky is spectacular) very private Safari is a show in itself! As it is a private reserve, it is well worth the investment as it features several animals in the same location and is quickly accessible. There are two games per day (early morning and late afternoon). You can see all kinds of animals. There is a special area where the lions are, which was a unique experience (photos). The Ranger, who guides you on the Safari, is a fundamental part of being able to see all the animals up close. Our Ranger was Thomás, he was a show apart, in addition to having a lot of experience in locating animals, he has excellent English and incredible knowledge. Each game was a biology lesson. It was a unique and incredible experience! As a form of gratitude, I made this review as complete as possible of everything I enjoyed during this short stay (3 days that felt more like 1 week).
