Sea La Vie

Great place, cozy and done in good taste, close to the beach, center, stores, restaurants etc. Very nice view from the big terrace. The house seems to have been newly remodeled and we really liked the design. Simple but again - in good taste. A very well equipped kitchen, very small but nice bathroom (with child seat on the toilet). We also enjoyed the outdoor shower (only available for people of a maximum height of 1,7m, as it is located beneath the big terrace, offering a very short space). But showering outside is a very nice experience in the summer, at the seaside (it does come with a rack for shower products, with a shower curtain and towel hanging hooks. Our stay was quiet and very pleasant. There is a “private” (only locals know it) path that goes directly down near to the marina, where you can even take a bath. It takes 1 minute to go down the stairs, but at night time you should have a light with you, as the path has no lights on it. The same path then continues into the “center”, a 5 minute walk. The distance to the beach itself (as there are also a lot of other places you can take a bath, right next to the house) is cca. 7 min on foot, so very close. Be sure to have the keys on you at all times, as the doors close automatically. AC in all rooms - a must in Greece - functioning perfectly. A lot of closet space, with a lot of hangers included, which was very nice and helpful. Very clean, too. Comfy, big beds, nice bedding and pillows, good quality towels. Very nice host, helpful and answering promptly to our texts on whatsapp. We (3 adults) would certainly come here again, especially if the host would fix the downstairs bathroom as well.

Not a thing we didn’t like, more of an observation and suggestion: The room downstairs is very nice but needs to acces the bathroom upstairs, which can be uncomfortable, especially at night time. I discovered that near the outdoor shower, downstairs, there was another small bathroom, that I didn’t use because it looked pretty bad. This second bathroom wasn’t actually presented to us - probably because it wasn’t remodeled- but it would really be a plus for the accommodation. Otherwise- great stay!

Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Location was ideal.
