The Young Villas - Canggu

The location was situated on the outskirts of canggu and was accessible and near to various landmarks. You can get to anywhere relatively fast on a grab bike.

There were various issues that we faced while staying in the villa. All these issues had been surfaced to the team managing the villa and they were kind to respond and rectify the next day. Nonetheless, it dampen the expectations of the villa. 1. The main issue with the villa were the amount of bugs, there were LOTS of bugs, be it bees, mosquitoes, houseflies, caterpillars etc, kinda feels like you're living in the jungle. It could be due to the rainy season or due to the villa being surrounded by plants and trees. Understand that it might be the aesthetic that the villa is going for, but the plants attracted tons of bugs day and night. There were potted plants in the rooms as well. We had numerous bug bites throughout our stay. Host was kind enough to pass us insect repellents, but personally, I would prefer if the place that i'm staying in has lesser number of bugs. 2. Water pressure of shower head was low. Host managed to replace it the next day. 3. They provided disposable toothbrush for their guests but when we opened up the toothbrush, it was moldy as it was made from wood. Host bought replacement toothbrushes the next day. 4. We noticed the cleaner refilled the glass bottles in the fridge using tap water on the second day. We were apprehensive of drinking from it as we heard stories of Bali belly so we only refilled our bottles from the water dispenser within the villa. 5. Water leakage was spotted from the basin of the master bedroom. Host rectified it the next day. Overall, the host was nice to rectify the mistakes promptly. However, I wished the villa could be more well maintained. We wanted to live the Bali life but got A Bug's Life instead.

I highly recommend and it was a precious to stay at the villa. I’ve enjoyed stay at the young villa for 3 nights and everything was super clean and perfect. Rai and Ego hosts were absolutely professional and were super quick at responding all my request. Entire villa’s interior was traditional Balinese design with modern aesthetic swimming pool, also I do cared about every details that there was no insects, hairs or dust.Exactly like the photos. Location was in the perfectly located near by Pepito grocery, Festive grocery, gym (Social club), cafes and many restaurants. I would love to stay here when I come back next time.

We had booked Young Villas as part of a a milestone birthday trip and loved it! The villa was cosy, quiet and stylish. The villa was cleaned daily and staff were helpful and let us keep our bags in the villa a little longer after check out. The location was away from the main strip in Canggu but there were a few cafes, great massage places and supermarkets walking distance to the property and an easy Grab ride to more options (we didn’t have traffic issues thankfully!). We would definitely stay here again!

There was stained bedding in one room but they were quick to resolve it the next day.
