Das Ambiente, der Charme, die Ausstattung, das Personal, die Lage

Everything was perfect from arrival to check-out. The staff were discreet yet attentive, making the stay feel effortless. The room was spacious—a welcome change after many smaller hotel rooms—with a large bathroom and roomy bath. The comfortable bed, generous selection of snacks, sweets, and gifts, and a lovely view of the river made the stay truly enjoyable.

The only minor drawbacks were the lack of a traditional smoking room (only e-cigarettes allowed) and a location slightly less convenient for exploring Kyoto compared to the Kawaramachi area, though it was much calmer.

The room was amazing and the staff were lovely.

There was a little street noise that could be heard at night.

We were impressed with this hotel. It is a modern hotel with a pleasing design overall. Our room was a good size, very well appointed and very attractively designed and furnished. It also enjoyed a nice view. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The (non-buffet) breakfast could be improved. Although we found that some of the menu items were tasty, others were not. We were also disappointed in our one evening dinner at the hotel restaurant.
