The Barn - Quiet Location

Beautiful accommodation with some very thoughtful touches. Fresh flowers homemade biscuits, jam, butter, milk and marmalade were all very much appreciated. The owners kindly invited us to explore their fabulous garden which also has a pretty woodland at the end. We particularly liked watching the fish from the pontoon and each morning a little rabbit visited the garden! Such a tranquil place, we had a very relaxing stay, shame the weather wasn't a bit better as we would have liked to sit outside a bit more. The barn is very tastefully and delicately decorated in calming colours with some lovely artwork of local scenes. There are some really lovely pubs and restaurants within a couple miles. We enjoyed the Pig & Sty and the lovely Italian restaurant in Tenterden. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you'd need and the entire barn was sparkling clean. Would love to stay again if in Kent area.

Peaceful location, lovely host, decoration of accommodation outstanding and homely and comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. A lot of thought gone into it and the " little things" which made a difference.

My husband and I stayed at the Barn for two nights. It’s in a quiet, rural location set within an enormous and beautiful garden. The hosts encourage guests to use the garden, and there are plenty of places to sit outside and listen to the birds. There are also two small lakes, making it even more peaceful. The Barn offers great value for money for such an amazing stay. The WiFi was excellent, and the space was comfortable with ergonomic chairs, making it very relaxing. It felt private and quiet - you have far more privacy here than in a hotel. The hosts weee great - they’ve thought of everything you could need. They live next door but are not intrusive at all, and are easily contactable before both and during your stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we really appreciated the tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, jam, marmalade, butter, milk and cold water provided. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing stay and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it.

Quiet rural location, with the barn sat in the grounds of a lovely garden and woodland. Easy access to lovely countryside, and coast. Friendly hosts who allow you to wander around their garden and woodlands.

I found the 2 armchairs to be uncomfortable to sit in and watch TV. The barn is situated very close to the owners property which might be off putting to some people.

Incredible place. Very quiet. Beautiful garden. It's a separate guest house that is extremely comfortable and has a full kitchen.

It is a bit hard to get to. It's on a small rural road and Google struggles with the address.
