The location was convenient with plenty of amenities locally. The driveway gave confidence that there would at least be space to park one of our cars when we returned. The area was fairly quiet on a night so sleeping with the windows open wasn't a problem.

The condition of the property was poor, on arrival we opened the door to be greeted by areas of damaged paintwork in the hallway, a thread bare carpet on the stairs and an unpleasant smell that none of us could quite identify. Upon venturing further we found the bedrooms weren't arranged as advertised, there were 4 twins and 2 doubles as opposed to the 2 Kings, 2 doubles and 2 twins that were stated, a minor point overall though. Less minor was the broken shower head/hose in the upstairs bathroom (broken enough that the shower head had been completely removed and sat on the shelf), not convenient with 7 people aiming to be out of the house by 8am. To ensure it wasn't going to be an issue we chose to buy a replacement from Screwfix, it just seemed easiest. After returning to the house with some shopping we found the fridge to be quite dirty so the shelves were removed and cleaned before we could use it. Next up we found that whilst we could connect to the advertised free WiFi, we could find no evidence of an internet connection, so that was useful. Later on one of the group decided it would be more efficient for him to shower on the night, it was at this point we found out that the hot water hadn't been working. Being close to midnight, the expectation of a plumber coming out was very low so between a few of us we did some investigations and managed to get the boiler firing, at least that meant only one of us had to suffer a cold shower, it also exposed the leaking hot tap in the kitchen which had just been turned off at the isolator. One of the lads questioned the cleanliness of his bedding although the rest seemed to be clean so he may just have high standards...

Very disappointing as the property had very bad smell. There were cobwebs, spiders and moths in the bathrooms and two of the bedrooms. The bedsheets smelt very bad, it was clear the sheets had not been washed in a good while, and there were stains on the sheets. There was no washing up liquid in the kitchen, and only one toilet roll in one of the two bathrooms. We had to buy our own toilet rolls and the wash up liquid, and we had to buy air fresheners to reduce the stench in the property. The locations wasn’t brilliant and the parking wasn’t easy either we struggled to get our cars and in and out. I don’t think we will be booking a house again. Hotels provide much better services and facilities.

Lights in bathroom.didnt work. Not enough Bath towels, wine glasses, washing equipment but host did say buy what you want and expense it. I was on holiday and didn't want to go shopping!
