Pho Rak Nah Pai

The owner was so helpful and accommodating. He was always on hand to help with any questions we had and had lots of information to give.

Very novel property, quiet location,

Very dusty, very thin exterior walls, poor shower, no housekeeping, limited floor space

We got a house just by the pond, so it was really pleasant to chill on the hammock just by the water. The location is very quiet, but in the same time next to 2-3 great places for breakfast (Changpai cafe with an amazing view, The house Cafe with 3 turtles!) and other local gastronomies. It's also very close to the Big Buddha. You feel surrounded by nature and it's a 20 min walk to the town. The house was clean, be prepared to see small lizards outside :) The owner is very helpful, smiley and kind. We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Pai :)

It wasn't a big issue for us, but just so you know, the bathroom's ceiling is open, so you can be heard :p and you should always close the bathroom doors, so no insects get inside the room.

we loved how it was a short distance from everything, whilst also having lovely little food places and convenience things on the way <3 felt lovely to walk back after the excitement and into the beautiful nature where this accommodation is very pretty little assortment of bungalows and huts we stayed in a cute mud hut that was perfect for the weather as it remained cool inside, but also was neutral on cold days; very nice space and there was also a table, chairs and bench outside the owner was 10/10 so friendly, always on call to help and even arranged our taxi back! he was a sweetheart and really added to the experience staying there :)

the mud hut bathroom is in need of re-doing; the floor and whole area is darkly stained and theres a strong smell. the shower was hard to navigate also. everything was quite low and outdated. toilet was fine though :) the bed is also, like most places in thailand, traditionally very hard and not what we are used to as people from the uk :’) still sleepable but not the comfiest for us (we like memory foam so take this with a grain of salt) hammock for us was too small and we are both under 5’8, not too sure this was the case everywhere though

The madhouse is amazing to sleep in at night. The location is perfect just 5 mins drive from the centre but quiet enough to hear crickets at night.the hammock is a beautiful touch.
