Loft da Sé by Porto City Hosts

The location is perfect. Also the hosts were very very kind and extremly helpful. 10/10 for them.

The only con was the bathroom - it is really small and there was constant smell from the drain. Otherwise it is very cosy and well maintained flat.

Great location, -Apartment is nice with enough space, although the bed is under the slated roof so not easy to get out of in the middle of the night. -Having a kitchen and couch.

Terrible sewage smell coming out of toilet. There was some pieces of sh***t floating in the filter of the shower!!! Like this, the spa should not be allowed to be rented out until they replace the tubing. To be fair, The staff tried their best to solve the issue, but the problem seems to be that the shower and toilet pipes are not up to the task, especially when it rains. They should have provided us a replacement place immediately, as they knew this could not be fixed. Instead they only offered us the last day to change place, after having stayed already 3 days .we gave them all the time and patience to solve the issue (we arrived Thursday night, sent a message out Friday morning about the smell and the shit, but it was bank holiday so they couldn't get plumber. The sent someone with fresheners that didn't do anything. I mentioned this is not acceptable so they send someone with some cleaning acid who at least removed the pieces of feaces in the shower. This also didn't help. Saturday they sent a plumber. He couldn't fix it either, the smell was better until we took the first shower, then came back even worse!). We could only sleep with the toilet door closed and only went into the bathroom when absolutely unavoidable. It ruined our stay and experience: We picked a large apartment to be able to retire after a long day of sight seeing, but the rotten smell did not allow us to relax. Quite disappointed in the whole experience.

Great location across from the cathedral and close to the train station. Lots of good restaurants and shops near by. Short walk across the bridge to Gaia for an amazing view of Porto.

The photos don’t show how dramatically the angled roof impacts living space. You cannot walk around the bed because of the roof so you have to climb over each other. You cannot in front of the toilet and need to be very careful when you get up. Same with the super tiny shower. The living room space is cut in half by the roof as is the dining room. Overall it made the space feel really cramped and my head still hurts from multiple impacts. Would not stay in this unit again.

Ligging en netheid van de Loft

Slaapkamer was erg laag (grote schuine muur) waardoor je niet fatsoenlijk in bed kon komen of uit tenzij je niet langer bent dan 1 meter 10!

Перше і головне в самому серці історичного центру. Близько транспорт і метро і автобуси. Центральна вулиця Санта Катаріна в 5 хв.пішки. Розташування супер. Апартаменти теж були хороші, чисті. Наявні 2 кондиціонери. Все є для проживання сім'єю. Привітний персонал. Сподобалось однозначно. Рекомендую.

Апартаменти були на 4 поверсі, трохи важкувато було підійматись. І декоративні подушки що є в помешканні краще прибрати, або частіше прати, що вплинуло на оцінку чистоти в помешканні.

Locaton Space.

Was no mention of the 60 stairs to climb. And the insistence that before leaving keys in flat when checking out. One should run down and check nobody has locked the main from outside , cos if you leave the keys in flat. Then go with luggage to leave building… you may not get out. !!!!! So run down, then back up, then leave keys in flat, then go down again, & hope nobody meanwhile has locked front door. CRAZY. Upon arriving. Up 60 steps. Found no complimentary water or milk. 4 coffee pods for a 3 night stay. Basics would have been a treat ? Was told u could drink tap water. And who needs milk in tea or coffee??

Beautiful living room area, nicely furnished. Central location with all major tourist targets within walking distance. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower (not a guarantee on the top floor in such an old building.)

The kitchen is falling apart everywhere you look. (literally!) There are cobwebs all over the walls and support beams, but the floors and furniture seemed clean. The shower needs deep cleaning! The drain didn't work too well (probably hair stuck in there), and the glass and seals are stained. The central location is great to reach all major tourist destinations in town, but the area is incredibly busy and the windows let in all noises making you wonder if you even closed them at all. (You're on the top floor but it sounds like cars are driving past an open window...) We enjoyed hiking the stairs in the beautiful clean and brightly lit stairwell, but others might struggle with their luggage or fitness.

It was easy to find the key and the property was great. Perfect location and yet still quiet.

Unfortunately we were given the wrong code to the box but it was resolved very quickly and they responded to my problem out of hours.
