The Granary House - Long Stayz

The whole area was quiet and peaceful. The cottage is bigger than expected too. Everything was perfect. We definitely will be back. The host was very nice and friendly over messages too and answered everything we wanted to know. Really was a relaxing stay before the rush with our cottages. We know what it takes to keep everyone happy with style and cleanliness and stresses other people don’t see but keep it up, you have an amazing place in a wonderful area. A short drive onto Dartmoor for river walks which we love. Didn’t want to leave! Thank you

Lovely location, all the facilities you could want .

Stayed here for a family wedding. Was Perfect location to the elfordleigh hotel. House was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a problem with the heating. However, this was rectified within minutes. Host was just a text message away and replied really quick. Very friendly. Will definitely book again.

Very big rooms great kitchen and all the extras were excellent Bath was awesome Great size bed in main room Very comfortable sofas in living room Loved the table football set up All facilities were great Loved the large rooms and some great touches Very comfortable and very clean Loved the extras ie milk in fridge toiletries in rooms chocolate bars Kitchen fully equipped and lacking nothing Well set out

Mostly quiet except for barking dog Shower pressure was just ok Directions to property not very good especially since postcode takes you to hotel and not the correct location Also named Quiet Barn but nowhere is this signage and when asked someone (who turned out to be the next door neighbour with barking dog) she didn’t know anything about a place called Quiet Barn When contacting owner bearing in mind this was after driving for 6 hours to say we were lost and couldn’t find property and getting a bit stressed the owner told my wife to calm down…. I do not think this to be very helpful or polite and did actually spoil our visit No one should who understands customer service would ever tell someone to calm down It is a shame because if he had handled the situation better we would be probably be raving about the property We are going to be regular visitors to Plymouth since our son moved there and in need of somewhere to stay at least 4 or 5 times a year and would have probably used this property a lot more Hopefully he learns from this and is a bit more tolerant in the future to other guests

Very comfortable large lounge on the first floor with a great view over the garden and to the golf course...all very green and lovely Bathroom is a great size
