The location of the property was excellent—close to everything we needed and perfect for exploring the area. The kitchen facilities were adequate for basic meals, though it was disappointing that the oven wasn’t working during our stay. On a positive note, the bedding and towels were clean on arrival, which gave a good first impression.

the lack of a parking bay or permit was a real inconvenience. Nearby parking was limited to 4 hours max, so we had to move the car repeatedly and pay a considerable amount over the duration of our stay. The apartment is best suited for four guests; the pull-out beds in the front room were reported to be uncomfortable and not ideal for extended use. There’s a restaurant directly underneath the apartment, which brought some noise until midnight—particularly frustrating given the quiet hours enforced on guests from 10pm. A bit of fresh decorating could go a long way, as the place felt tired and in need of some TLC. Overall, while there were some positives, a few improvements would make a big difference in the comfort and convenience of the stay.

Its location, which was perfect for a base from which to explore Bristol for a weekend away.

It wasn’t clean on arrival, which I had to relay to the host to get it resolved as didn’t want to stay with hair, dead bugs etc on the floor. It was also unsafe and uncomfortable. A sharp protruding piece of metal from a broken sofa bed - which I was informed had already been reported to the owner but without any redress!, - meant that this piece of furniture was rendered unsafe and unable for use. This meant that there was not a relaxing area in the lounge to enjoy. There was not an offer of recompense nor apology for such a shameful set up. The owner should not be allowed to continue advertising the property for use in the way it is, without making sure it wholly stands up. Oh and you might want to check that the oven works before booking too, as no information to this effect was shared with me until the last minute. Oh and finally, the property is old and worn and this is accurately represented in the booking/online pictures.

It’s nice and clean

None but because the weather is hot need electric fan.

The property is comfortable. Located over a restaurant. Aside from no place to park the location is good. Walking distance to stores and places to eat.

There is no parking. There is paid parking but only for limited hours. To park on the street anywhere nearby you need a permit. The lack of parking is a big detraction from what could otherwise be a great place.
