Terrible parking Shower was not hot enough for two short morning showers Very noisy position. Curtains too thin, so all flashing police vehicles woke me up both nights. Think the property description should be really clear that there is no real parking available. Such a narrow street. Difficult to complete a parallel park without contacting parked cars.

It’s at the corner of an intersection. Not noisy from inside, but outside doesn’t look fine. The flat is very old. The rooms are okay, but bedsheets could be more fresh and clean. Not a good value.

No hot water / hot water was intermittent so showers and baths were a bit of a nightmare.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a house with two flats. There is one more flat above this one. The apartment is really worth the money. A little bit outside all the main attractions, but that was somewhat expected. It offers a kitchen with some tea, coffee and sugar (not more) and a washing machine, a cozy living room where we liked to chill after long days of sightseeing, a spacious bath room with a bath tub and two bed rooms (1 single bed room and one room with a small double and a single). Please note the single beds are quite small though, I am a 156 cm and I just fitted into the single bed. The double bed is good for two small people or one big person. I would say the sofa bed in the living room is just good as a sofa and too would be too short to sleep on. The apartment was really really warm and we appreciated that the host turned on the heating before our arrival. The host always responded quickly via booking.com messenger and was always happy to help. I can definitely recommend a stay here, if you want to explore Bristol on a budget.

What we really did mind was the fact that the bed sheets and towels all had stains, drops and hairs and clearly were washed only on 30-40 degrees c. This fact made us deduct one star from the review. I think this is something that can definitely be improved with the next cleaning and all the linen are in need of a proper wash. The common entry area is very dirty to say the least (old socks, bags, rubbish lying around inside the house and also rubbish in front of the entry door). The walls are all filthy. I understand, if no one wants to paint it, but it is the least to remove the rubbish. The walls in the house are also very thin (see other reviews) and you can hear the neighbour on the floor above as if they were next door. The house is located at the very end of Lower Ch. Pl., it is a 15 - 20 minutes walk from Montpelier train station and much further than we had expected when we booked it. There are some busses around, but of which none goes directly into the city centre of Bristol. Uber costs around 10-15 GBP from Temple Meads to the property. Communication with the host was somewhat confusing, even though always friendly. They gave the wrong address twice and I even messaged booking.com customer service, because I thought this is a fraud. But overall, the host was always friendly and check-in information came as promised on time of the day of the arrival. Very small notice to all ladies: There is no hair dryer in this property ;-).

We were very satisfied with the choice of this apartment. Convenient location, good communication, safe environment. Very good communication from the host. Every detail is taken care of, automatic contactless check-in. Allowed to store luggage earlier than check-in time. We found everything in the apartment exactly as described. All the necessary things and equipment for a comfortable life. Towels, bed linen, mini toiletries, dishes, iron, hair dryer, modern interior.
