Menagerie House was cute an quirky with lots of little touches in each room. Property was very clean and the supplies in the fridge were unexpected and very welcome. Great that lots of cleaning products available too!

Nothing! Only thing I would say is the staircase to the upper floor not suitable for people with mobility issues

The property was so quirky and brilliantly furnished. We had everything we needed and it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Some provisions were provided so we didn’t need to think of getting stuff in. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

"The owners provided a lovely breakfast the apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable."

Charming and beautifully decorated apartment. Location was excellent walking distance to everything in York. The owner was very helpful in providing us directions when we had trouble getting into Booking.com on our way there.

The bathroom on the third floor is under the eaves, so you must be very careful not to hit your head.

The location of the house is excellent, situated on a quiet street but right in the heart of York city. It was super clean and the house is exceptionally tasteful and beautiful. The hosts are wonderful, very responsive, helpful and warm. I highly recommend a stay at Menagerie House and will certainly be returning.

"Perfect house, hosts and city."

Absolutely beautiful house and fantastic hosts! Really close to the city center - just a short walk to all the main attractions of York - The Minster, Viking Centre, Dungeons, Chocolate Story, The Shambles, City Walls, Railway Museum etc Our three kids had an amazing time here and I would thoroughly recommend.
