A great apartment, with all the facilities you need. Clean comfortable and in a great location.if you drive it has parking as well.

Location is great - views of the walls and Minster central tower from the courtyard patio. 7mins walk to Minster steps, 11min to Betty’s for breakfast! This is our 3rd stay at Moat View and it is comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything required for a relaxing stay in York. The host is friendly and helpful by email or text - but you’re just left to enjoy your stay with your loved one. The parking space is probably worth £30 per day on its own (York car parks are NOT cheap!) - the cherry on the cake is EV charging (7kW), just remember your cable. Excellent stay in a great cottage! Nothing! Oh if I’m picky - a microwave would be good for longer stays. Tesco is on Gilligate and having the option of ready-meals would be good. Definitely not a deal breaker!

The property was perfect for visiting York, just a 5 minutes walk to the Minster. The car park space was brilliant. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed except a microwave. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location - parking space in central York a real asset we could park the car up and leave it for the whole visit and walk everywhere 😄. Accommodation was lovely clean and comfortable with plenty space .

Maybe a bit more storage in the bedroom - wardrobe is in the living space but that’s being really picky !

Moat View is in an excellent location with the added bonus of a parking space. Everything has been thought of and it is the perfect base for a trip to York.

Nothing to find fault with, everything was perfect. Communication with the owner was great and all instructions very clear. This was our second stay, only sorry we couldn't get our dates for later in the year as fully booked, but not surprising as it's so lovely.

Fantastic location next to Yorks Castle walls. Had great access and parking space right outside. ...a real bonus in a city that has high charges in its car parks. High quality accommodation in every way. Would love to stay again.

Close to centre with private parking and added bonus of ev charger. The accommodation was excellent, lovely and warm with everything we could need there. Overall was a perfect place to stay and will definitely book the same place again in future.
