Location was excellent so close to everything.

Free Parking was advertised but nothing upon booking to say it needed to be reserved or how. Host did recommend local parking that was reasonable.

Great communication from the host, room was spotless, excellent facilities!

We appreciated the location; everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. We appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms, the quality bathroom facilities, bed linens and sofas. The kitchen appliances were also excellent. It was very warm despite the chilly weather outside. We had to turn off the heating and I would have preferred a lighter duvet.

Our only quibble was with the lack of opportunity to recycle our rubbish. Eventually we found some facilities down the street, under the railway bridge but that wasn’t ideal. Coming from Wales, we are used to recycling food waste as well as glass, paper, plastic and metal and it was hard just to put everything into the kitchen bin for landfill. The 56 steps up to the flat… they may have been mentioned in the original description but I missed that. Fortunately, even though our average age was 78 we managed!

Fresh, modern, great location and hosts! Would love to come back
