The apartment was spatious, well-furnished and equipped for a holiday visit. The stone details and the wooden ceiling made the experience truly unique and reminiscent to the area in which the apartment is located (Castello). The location of the flat was also convenient, being close to many famous landmarks, such as the Torre dell'Elefante, the Bastione di Saint-Remy and the Porta Christina. Nearby, at Piazza Yenne one can find a grocery store, sufficient for basic shopping and daily necessities.

Due to the nature of the area and the flat - namely, lacking windows - it was difficult to get fresh air into the apartment or to dry washed clothes.

My girlfriend and I spent about a week in Cagliari and our stay was wonderful. Check-in was smooth and the apartment is comfortable, graciously furnished and featuring charming stone walls, clean and equipped with everything one needs during a stay - including a washing machine which we used once to do the laundry. The host was friendly and easily reachable for any necessity. The best part, however, is the location. The apartment is situated right in the best part of the historical center of Cagliari, a few steps away from Il Bastione on one side and less than a 5-minute walk away from Piazza Yenne on the other. The public parking spots are also within a short walking distance, which was very convenient for us. Location tip: The restaurant/coffeeshop Libarium - recommended to us for its breathtaking panoramic view over Cagliari- is less than 1 minute walk away from the apartment and it's definitely a great evening choice for dinner or cocktails if you book this apartment. Overall, we loved the experience and we will surely be back here during our next Cagliari visit.

The apartment is perfect for couples and solo travelers but its location could be a slight inconvenience for families with small children in strollers. The apartment is located in a very tiny street reminiscent of Venice alleys - and since residents occasionally drive through it, the area might not be the easiest walk with a stroller.
