The SPACE To Stay Aparthotel

The location was ideal for us, I was working at the university and the location of the accomodation was close enough for a 5 minute drive but not in the busy noisy area and away from the main road so no traffic noises. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful! The bathroom is a wet room which I LOVED, and the shower was fabulous, great water pressure! (Although I would have appreciated a lock on the door, but unimportant if you're travelling alone.) I loved that there was a thin window blind so you can have the privacy but with sunlight, and also a blackout blind behind it for night time. There's also a small shop behind reception which is really handy if you need one or two bits like milk, bread, cereal or noodles! Overall I enjoyed my stay and would go again, and would definitely recommend!

It's not a hotel per se, more so student accomodation being rented out while they're away, so there's no housekeeping. We stayed for a week, and there was no vacuum available, no extra bin bags, no tea towel, no dish cloth, and no kitchen spray. With no housekeeping, by the end of the week we felt like we were living in a dirty apartment. Possibly if we'd have asked a vacuum cleaner it may have been provided. The entire place on a whole is nice and clean though and well maintained. For such a large outdoor space there was no outdoor seating. There are tables and chairs but they are right outside the downstairs apartments so seemed to be assigned to those apartments. It feels like you're being penalised for not having the more expensive apartments with the terraces and you're unable to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air (the week we were staying it was really warm with lovely weather).

Very modern and quite new complex/apartment so furnishings were good and bed was comfortable.

Reception staff were not accommodating. Apartment was in a block where parking and main door dictated access which meant a very lengthy walk through the building to the very end of the floor. Access was somewhat complicated with security requirements while emergency door was open and unattended to assist cleaning staff.Room cleaning was below standard as were facilities where used towels were left from previous booking and in kitchen area poor facility with minimal glassware/crockery/cutlery and cleaning provision, no tea towel to wipe dishes for example. bathroom toiletries were below standard. Gel and shampoo provided but why no conditioner? we paid a price which should have been a much better experience

They checked another couple into our room whilst we were out and after moving us to another room they offered a refund which we still haven’t received

The place was great. The morning reception staf were friendly.

The lady on reception when we arrived was very abrupt and unwelcoming. We were made feel it was an imposition to have to assist.

The property was within easy walking distance of the city centre and in a quiet residential location.

The property was advertised as having a kitchen but the kitchen utensils provided were insufficient, we were given a frying pan no bigger than a side dish, a small saucepan with a lid that was too big for it and a medium sized saucepan and nothing else. Rudimentary to say the least. We ate on site the first night and the food was of average quality, as was the breakfast.

So new, clean and modern with excellent facilities! Great friendly staff.
