Executive luxury for work or play in DC!

The location and very well equipped household, especially the all around care by Alex

Our host/owner Alex, and this condo, are terrific! Very responsive, flexible, understanding, accommodating. He provided lots of valuable info before we arrived, and left numerous treats for us and our grandsons to enjoy upon arrival. -Very comfortable (beds, furniture, etc) and spacious (kitchen, etc) for our 6. Free street parking was always available. Alex provides an unusually large complement of quality supplies - coffee, all detergents, upscale soaps & lotions, paper goods, baggies, etc - we had plenty to last our 5-night stay. -Very thoughtful owner, you'll find lots of helpful things you never expected. -Great washer & dryer & dishwasher. The fancy showers are fantastic! We weren't familiar with the fancy coffer maker, but after a little trial & error (directions/video links are provided) we were drinking delicious cappuccinos & americanos. -Free wifi worked great, as did the TV & soundbar. -Since we had 6, we drove our SUV into DC and parked...using the ParkWhiz app made it easy, with garage rates much better than Boston! And if you are handicapped (my wife needs to use the manual wheelchair we travel with for anything but very short walks), there is HP parking at virtually all the monuments and near the mall (but you still need to feed the meters, and observe the time restrictions...thus our use of garage parking on several of the days. It's easy to drop Grandmom, the grandkids & the wheelchair outside your museum of choice, then drive the car to a nearby parking garage). -With a larger family group, we skipped the night monument tours and just drove there, parked, checked it out, and drove along to the next one. Much more relaxed approach, take as much time as you want, especially at night with less traffic and smaller crowds. -We hit Mama's Pizza twice - we all loved their pizza, wings were good too. -Our grandsons are all boys, loved the Air & Space Museum in DC..

Be aware that it's 3 levels, with no bedrooms or baths on the main level (2 bedrooms & full bath upstairs; one bedroom & full bath down).

The place is very nice once you are inside. The beds are very good, all amenities were top notch, and the place was very comfortable.

Location. I was very surprised at how nobody has commented about the location. It is not in a very nice area and when booking the place we knew very little about DC. The walk to the metro could only be done during the day, and did not appear that safe. I would recommend only using Ubers into the city if you are staying here.

It’s pretty close to the National Mall. Free local residents parking is always available.

It felt like home. Owner thought of everything and then some.

Great location, parking wasn't much of a problem. Enough space in the home and great amenities.

Nothing was bad.
