Beautiful property and good location

Nothing to dislike

Very nicely furnished apartment, available everything that you could possibly need, friendly and responsive host. Apartment has 2 levels - on the ground level you will have a spacious bedroom and bathroom, on the street level there is one isolated bedroom, one bedroom together with living room, bathroom and kitchen. Comfy beds, small, but well equipped kitchen, beautiful high ceilings. Walking distance to old town is around 15-20min, by taxi - around 10min. Rather quiet surrounding, lot of coffee shops, shops and other places within 10min walking distance.

The only thing that might be disturbing for someone - bathroom floor is rather cold, but on a warm days it's even relieving :)

Really cool place, and close to the railway station (about a 15 minute walk). The apartment was nice and clean, perfect for a couple days in Bucharest.

Apartment was clean and welcoming, bigger than expected. Very nice homely vibe, well decorated with finishing touches. Lots of shops to get essentials nearby. Great location to get to anywhere, we used Uber to get about it was really easy, quick and cheap! We visited the old town and the Therme spa twice, they are an absolute must for anyone visiting the city. Host was easy to get in touch with for any enquiries. Would highly recommend this apartment

We appreciated the owner thoughtfulness and small considerations in every room. Like children books with animals near the bed in case you need some help putting a small kid to sleep. A family board game under the TV in case you prefer quality time instead of screen time. A fully decorated Christmas tree for extra ambiance. It is as if they have imagined how your day will go hour by hour and put as much effort to provide everything you would need. You wake up in the morning, you might want a toast, so there is toaster. Coffee or tea is a given - so you have both options prepared in the kitchen right next to the coffee machine. You might want to have a relaxing bath (yes, there is a bathtub), so in addition to the clean towels you will find a hairdryer. And I can go on like this for a bit... Add to this that the apartment is a mezonette (extra room and bathroom in a sublevel) that is squeaky clean, very spacious with insanely high sealing (4-5 meters up), yet very comfortably heated on a quiet street near the city center (5 mins to everywhere with a car). So you would understand why we wouldn't bother checking any other options if we visit Bucharest again in the future.

The apartment is in a historic building. Probably built in 1930s if I am placing the architecture elements correctly. So you get the space to make you feel like a king in a palace suite, but it also means noise insulation is a thing of the future. The parquet floor is squeaky and you can't walk quietly on it. You will be able to hear what is going on in the other rooms and perhaps the neighbors from upstairs when they walk. If such small noises triggers you, the apartment is still absolutely amazing but it might not be your type of amazing. The stairs to the sublevel are steep and will be challenging for small children or for a person with reduced mobility. None of the above bothered us much, or took away from our experience but they might be important for you.
