Villa Augusto - a 100 metros del Teatro Romano-

This was a really cozy and comfortable apartment with a good bathroom and very clean It has all that we need to prepare breakfast in the morning with couple supermarkets very close by (walking distance) and located downtown it gets us to the main attractions in no time ! We would definitely return!

Not any ones fault and away from facilities, our weekend in Merida was under extreme heat (over 40°c) but we still tried to make the most of our trip We were able to find free parking 🅿️ close by but it did take us a little while to find a spot The apartment is located in the city centre area which streets do not allow parking anywhere close by so this was what we liked the least

Tanto la ubicación como la limpieza del lugar así como la cercanía del personal que nos atendió en todo momento vía mensaje de WhatsApp excelente y muy bien equipado para todo lo necesario especialmente en nuestro caso que pasábamos solo una noche y que hayamos estar cerca del museo y el teatro Romano.

Todo está inmejorable La ubicación las instalaciones,comodidad,confort,limpieza, tranquilidad ,es como estar en casa

I arrived with the impression that this was an apartment. Not a room. As I was travelling with a friend, not a partner, a second room was needed; we did not want to sleep together. The sofa-bed was in the same room. I ended up paying for the hotel across the road. Not easy communication with the host (only in Spanish by WhatsApp message, AND their wi-fi was not working. An expensive mistake to book this place. I didn't have time or opportunity to look again at their listing, but it seems to me incorrect and misleading to call this an 'apartment'. Furthermore, it became clear that they only expected the sofa-bed to be used if the guest brings their own sheets. I still haven't gone back to look at their listing - it's possible I misunderstood their description and pictures, but though they were not unsympathetic, this was an unpleasant experience, which will make me avoid booking.com in future. I had to deal with the situation alone, with little or no help. I HAVE NOW CHECKED THE DESCRIPTION ONLINE: "The air-conditioned apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with an a bath or shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment." IS ABSOLUTELY MISLEADING. Please take note, booking.com You have responsibility here.
