What I loved most about the place was the peaceful, beachfront setting and the unexpected upgrade to a spacious cottage — perfect for a relaxing escape.

The humble, basic nature of enjoying peace and quiet. Sleeping with the roar of the ocean, cooking on an outside grill, the lengths the owner would go to to serve any and all needs, the helpfulness of Edgar, who couldn't do enough and never moaned when I couldn't light the bbq, the eco-farm of amazing produce....everything.

Nothing at all. This won't be everyone's cup of tea, so if you want luxury, go to Boracay. That really isn't the point of Kasa by the Sea. I don't care about the odd cobweb, the place had no cockroaches or rats, so I was happy.

Newly constructed, place is clean.

No warm water, no WiFi, no A/C

The Bullard are traditional bamboo huts on the ocean and are two story and had western bathrooms. They also had limited inside cooking facilities. And the sunrise was great. The person who answered the phone number on the gate spoke very good English

They’re quite a way from town and isolated but they did provide us with a security guard on site when we said we wouldn’t stay. He cut us fresh coconut in the morning but spoke no English. It appears the entire motel is the 2 hut’s
